Thanks to World Land Trust's support, we were able to assist this year's Birdfair in the UK! Adela Espinosa, Jocotours General Manager, and Antonio Páez, Administrative Director, presented our conservation stories in the lecture '21 years of conservation success in Ecuador'.

Their first meeting took place at the WLT office with staff members. Here they talked about our conservation successes. In 1998 we created our NGO with our first reserve Tapichalaca to protect the recently discovered Jocotoco Antpitta. Nowadays, with 13 reserves our focus shifted to various ecosystems with more than 900 bird species. Additionally, we are also working in reforestation projects (1.5 million trees planted) and community work.

We were thrilled to be invited to this magnificent event and meet other organizations that work in conservation around the world. Do you want to learn more about the Birdfair? Read the WLT news.
