Urraca Lodge: Rest among giants of the dry forest
In the heart of the Jorupe Reserve, near Macará and the border with Peru, Urraca Lodge is a natural refuge 500 meters above sea level, where peace and biodiversity surround you in every corner.
Imagine waking up in a cabin surrounded by monumental ceibo trees, in the heart of a vibrant ecosystem. The lodge's six cabins have been designed to offer comfort, natural light, and harmony with the environment. Here, every detail has been carefully considered to immerse you in the unique experience of the dry forest.
Urraca Lodge features six cozy cabins, each with a private bathroom, offering comfort amidst the forest. Its open social area, which includes a panoramic bar and restaurant considered the best in the area, allows you to enjoy delicious dishes while observing rare birds and endemic species that frequent the surroundings, such as the fascinating Rufous-capped Leaf-runner, one of the world's most endangered birds that still inhabits this region.
With 6 double rooms, we offer ideal accommodation for up to 12 people, guaranteeing comfort and privacy.

Desde Macará: toma la carretera que va desde el norte de la ciudad hacia el este, en dirección a Sozoranga. La reserva se encuentra a 10 km, dirigiéndose por la vía principal asfaltada. La entrada al lodge se encuentra al lado izquierdo (hay un gran letrero metálico). Al ingresar a la reserva, se debe continuar por la vía durante dos kilómetros más, hasta llegar al Urraca Lodge. Si la puerta está cerrada, uno de nuestros guardaparques de la reserva podrá ayudarte.
